Christi Troiano, 56, of Souderton, was reported missing by family members on April 25, borough police wrote in a release.

"According to her family, Christi left her home in the early morning hours and indicated that she may intend to harm herself," the department said.

Troiano is known to frequent the New Jersey shore, Atlantic City, and various parks in Bucks County, police said. Investigators say they have tried to ping her phone to determine her location but were unsuccessful.

In the weeks since her disappearance, nearly 800 Facebook users have joined a group dedicated to the search.

She is described as 5-foot-8 and about 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She left home in her black 2009 Acura TL with Pennsylvania tag number GJN-7484, police said.

"At this time, no evidence has been found to indicate that anything of a criminal nature has occurred," Souderton police wrote. "We are continuing to search for Christi and her vehicle."

Anyone who spots her or her car should call borough police at 215-723-6500 or 911.
